Why do we need Dental X-rays?

Updated: Feb 23, 2018

Dental radiographs are pictures of the teeth, bones, and soft tissues that aids in the diagnosis of problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw.

Radiographs can show caries found in between teeth, hidden dental structures such as wisdom teeth, bone loss and other pathologies that cannot be seen during a visual examination.

Dental radiographs are also used during follow-up after dental treatments.
